Appearance:
He's rather nondescript for the most part, though he's one of those unfourtunate men who even in his most neutral states appears to be smiling, and his frowns are so over exaggerated that people believe him to be furious. He's finally given up and just allows his mouth to remain as it is, quirked up slightly at the corners. It probably looks like he knows something.
Motivation in Life:
Yuya is simple in his wants. Bring honor to his clan and family, find his way on the path of Bushido, and most importantly, serve the empire by bringing truth and justice to all who live under the Emperor.
Family:
Yuya trusted his grandfather the most when he was younger, but now that the old man is gone, he mostly continues to trust his old master from the dojo he trained in. He's currently betrothed to a young courtier he's known since his childhood. He loves her well enough, though not passionately, and does his best to be a proper romantic to her. Sending letters and gifts. It's not the most proper way to do things, but he feels it helps him to continue to do right by her. He's not particularly close to anyone else in his family, but still pays proper due to them, his parents especially. His ancestor is his greatest inspiration and he hopes to live up to his glorious example, either on the battlefield, or in court.
Personality and Beliefs:
Like most Dragon Clan, Yuya is very aware of both his faults and strengths. That doesn't stop him from falling prey to them, though. He's very trustworthy. If he is told a secret, he will keep it to his grave, and you can always count on him to be upfront about his own motives. He takes sincerity and compassion to heart though, and maybe considered too forgiving.
He would claim that he doesn't hate anybody, just distrusts them. Over all, he mainly reserves it for the Scorpian clan, though he admit to having little patience for the chronically stupid and arrogant.
He's very aware and concerned with the teaches of the Tao, and has a few favorite proverbs he will quote often. He prays and observes customs with peity and loves to ponder philosophy.
